LOVE MOVIES? Want to rub shoulders with nationally known filmmakers?
We need YOUR help. We encourage you to volunteer for the 1st Annual DocuWest
Film Festival. No experience is required, just a bright, energetic personality and
passion for film.
Volunteers are needed Thursday, August 6–Sunday, August 9.
All shifts are 5 hours.
VOLUNTEERS RECEIVE:
5-hour shift = 6 festival passes
10 or more hours = 2 all access passes
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
1. Box Office - general ticket sales and will call tickets
2. Theater Venues and Festival Parties - direct audience to screening venues, check passes, tear tickets,
monitor flow of attendee traffic
3. Behind the Scenes - set-up and tear-down for screenings, parties and events
4. On the Reels - run projectors during screenings
VOLUNTEER TRAINING SESSIONS:
Attendance to one training session is mandatory.
Box Office, Theater Venues & Festival Parties, and Behind the Scenes Training
Tuesday, August 4 at 5 pm
OR Wednesday, August 5 at 3 pm OR 6 pm
On the Reels Training
Thursday, August 6
3 pm OR 5 pm
