Visceral and immersive, the series explores the human dimensions of the war through revelatory testimony of nearly 80 witnesses from all sides — Americans who fought in the war and others who opposed it, as well as combatants and civilians from North and South Vietnam. In the 1-hour screening video presented as a preview to the broadcast event, we’ll see a number of clips extracted from throughout the 18 hours of content and exploring the timeline of the War, the social movements that sprung from the War, and the aftermath of the engagement that still haunts the United States. In addition, we’ll share a short video produced locally by Colorado Public Television as an extension to the main film that explores Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and alternative healing therapies that are helping with mental and physical issues that veterans can suffer.
