Engaging the mind and inspiring the spirit—offering the world of art through exhibition and education.
For over forty years, Foothills Art Center (FAC) has served as the visual arts resource for the greater Golden community.  Housed in two buildings on the National Register of Historic Places, FAC is a unique art experience.  The signature gallery where DocuWest screenings will take place was built as the First Presbyterian Church in 1872.  The original stained glass windows are still intact and provide a distinctive atmosphere.

Offering thought-provoking and engaging exhibitions, FAC provides the opportunity for visitors of all ages to learn something new with each exhibition.  Annually, FAC presents a balance of themed exhibitions with local and regional artists, as well as internationally-acclaimed artists.  Each year, FAC offers over 100 workshops, lectures and classes for children, adults, seniors and underserved communities.
